About Brent
As a kid, I was fascinated by cameras. At every chance, I would play with my Mom's SLR, focusing and switching lenses, once and a while using the light meter and accidentally pressing the shutter release. Sometimes my Mom would have "mystery photos" of my dog (Several dogs later, still one of my favorite subjects to photograph, see above. Thanks Mom!)... I have spent most of my life with a camera in my hands, reading about photography when I couldn't be shooting, and itching for the next time I can go shoot.
I am a Photographer (P.P.O.C. Member), Teacher, Husband and a Dad. I live in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada, and most of the images on this website were made right here, in Yellowknife.
Recently my interest has increased to the point where I wanted to put up this website, and try new projects. I have been shooting a lot of sports and candids, and will be putting up more galleries with sports and people pictures in the weeks to come.
